Ruth Gonzalez discovered her love for singing at the age of 4. She grew up in Los Angeles, raised in a musical home by parents who were both church music directors. She graduated from California State University Northridge, majoring in voice, and is now a Board Certified Music Therapist working at a children’s hospital, where she enjoys working with neurodivergent kids and children with various medical needs. In addition to that work, Ruth discovered her interest in teaching early childhood music-and-movement classes as a preschool music specialist since September 2022. For fun, she enjoys singing in bands with friends and singing classical choir music. The rest of her free time is spent with her three dogs, whom she adores. She is excited to be one of the newest teachers at PLAY!
