We’re now enrolling for June & July of our online program, which began April 1st, and we’d love to have you to join us (MORE INFO). Our Mid Wilshire space is closed for regular business through June/July, at least. *Some of you have kindly been contacting us about items you remember seeing in our store, so we’ve put some of our instruments and art supplies online for shipping. If you would like to support us in this way, we appreciate it. Please let us know if you have questions. The store is HERE. Please take care, and we look forward to seeing you again soon. ❤️

Messy Art

Messy Art

What: Messy Art is facilitated parent-and-child painting. You may paint anytime within the scheduled window, but please try to arrive at least a half-hour before the end time. All materials, as well as smocks for kids and adults, are provided.

Who: Kids from toddler-age to 5. We don’t have an official lower age limit for Messy Art, but it tends to be more fun once kids are spending less time trying to eat the paint, and when they can stand comfortably at the easels.

Stories & Art

Stories and Art

What: At 10 am, we start with a story reading, then kids create their own art, taking inspiration from the book. Depending on the featured read, we use the book’s color palette, textures, images, or themes as a starting point for the art time. (The art room is open until 11:30, but most kids who participate from 10am are done sooner.)

Who: Kids who enjoy painting and might be ready to sit for one story; around 2 years and up, but kids under 2 are also welcome.

All books featured in Stories & Art are available for sale in our store.
