Angela Oliver

Known to some toddlers as Ms. Angie, Angela Oliver began her musical performance journey at the age of 5, singing and playing piano duets of “Heart & Soul” with her big sister in her Little Rock, AR, childhood home. Her early love of music and performing arts inspired her to study percussion, interdisciplinary theatre arts, and music improv in Chicago. Angela is a seasoned music and movement arts teacher, early childhood arts educator, interdisciplinary performing artist, and proud Columbia College Chicago Alum. She enjoyed teaching SEL and play-centered music and movement arts workshops for Chicago families, preschool classrooms, and community arts organizations for over 7 years before relocating to Los Angeles in 2020. Angela also enjoys facilitating theatre and literary arts workshops whenever she’s not jamming out. Angela is so delighted to be a part of the PLAY community and to share music and movement arts lessons that will spark a lifelong love and appreciation for music!
